Racial Grievance-Mongering, Post Racism and the Great Liberal Coalition Crackup--Part 5

Barack Obama was supposed to be the post-racial candidate...above it all, able to heal the hole in our souls.

Of late it seems that a part of his constituency has gone off the rails and reverted to the racial politics of old.

Recently Jesse Jackson accused Obama of talking down to blacks because he talked about personal responsibility, wanted to cut his nuts off and used the dreaded 'N' word. Didn't Jackson jump all over radio shock-jock Don Imus for using racial slurs against the Rutgers University women's basketball team? Didn't Michael 'Kramer' Richards lose his career when he called some black hecklers the 'N' word at the Laugh Factory several years ago? An obvious double standard at work here. On The View Whoopi Goldberg repeatedly used the 'N' word claiming it was OK for blacks to use the term. Whites, however, are not allowed to use the 'N' word, or tell Obama jokes for that matter. The hypocrisy is staggering.

Hey folks, what's the difference between Obama and Osama........a little BS. What did Obama say at the Brandenburg Gate?...."Ich Bin Ein Beginner" Thanks, we're here all week.

In Texas, a long accepted scientific term, black hole, became the subject of a race controversy.

Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said that central collections "has become a black hole" because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.

Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud "Excuse me!" He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a "white hole."

That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.

Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term. A black hole, according to Webster's, is perhaps "the invisible remains of a collapsed star, with an intense gravitational field from which neither light nor matter can escape."

We are truly through the looking glass on this one. You have to see the videos to believe it:

What an idiot. Seems like Mr. Price has been watching the scene in Spike Lee's Malcolm X where Denzel Washington starts going through the Webster's Dictionary to find the anti-black meaning of all the words in the English language.

Note to the linguistics among you:
  • The BlackBerry shall henceforth be called the Whiteberry...somebody notify Research In Motion
  • The Sacred Black Hills of South Dakota are now the White Hills
  • Blackout Chocolate Cake is now Whiteout Vanilla Cake
  • Folks who are blacklisted are now whitelisted
  • Folks who get blackballed are now whiteballed
  • Joan Jett and the Blackhearts are now the Whitehearts...The Black Crows must change their name to the White Crows...Black Sabbath...now White Sabbath
  • Black Bean Soup is now White Bean Soup
  • The BlackRock Investment firm must change it's name to the Whiterock Investment Firm
  • The word black shall be stricken from the English language
You get the idea...

Finally we come to the now infamous New Yorker cover of Barack and Michelle. The New Yorker lamely defended the cover by saying they were satirizing the various Obama stereotypes.

But Myrlie Evers-Williams, NAACP official and widow of slain civil rights leader Medgar Evers has proclaimed the cover a "lynching."

Sez Evers-Williams:

An NAACP leader, who saw her husband killed decades ago for his civil rights work, said Tuesday that presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife, Michele, are undergoing "political lynching" in the media.

Myrlie Evers-Williams, 75, the widow of slain civil rights leader Medgar Evers, told an NAACP luncheon group Tuesday that political spin masters and the news media are painting the Obamas as unpatriotic and dangerous radicals. She said the attacks are serious enough to use the term lynching, even though that usually refers to racially-motivated killings.

Evers-Williams, a chairwoman emeritus of the civil rights organization, said New Yorker magazine's recent cover is an example. The magazine's cartoon cover shows a turban-clad Barack Obama bumping knuckles with a gun-toting Michele Obama as an American flag burns in a fireplace…

Evers-Williams, a chairwoman emeritus of the civil rights organization, said New Yorker magazine's recent cover is an example. The magazine's cartoon cover shows a turban-clad Barack Obama bumping knuckles with a gun-toting Michele Obama as an American flag burns in a fireplace.

"As I watch the political scene unfold, I realize there is more than one way to lynch someone," said Evers-Williams. "I look at the picture of the New Yorker and to me that was subtle, political lynching. You can call it satire if you want."

We were supposed to be beyond this kind of racial politics with the "refreshing" Obama candidacy. But it's the same-old same-old. Jealousy, backstabbing and an obvious realization that, God forbid, if Obama gets elected, the old guard race hustlers will be out of business.

Today, thanks to Reverend Wright, Louis Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Cynthia McKinney, and all of the race hustling morons mentioned here, whites don't have to do a thing to destroy race relations in this country. Black folks are doing a fine job of that.

The Great Liberal Coalition Crackup rolls on.
